One Christmas Eve….

PENNY, a homeless veteran, receives a gift card from a mysterious stranger to Le Companion bistro, an exclusive restaurant.

She is initially denied a table due to her appearance but eventually gets a spot and forms a bond with the waitress. The police arrive to forcefully escort Penny out - triggering the memory of her long-repressed Military Sexual Trauma.
